Locust Busters shirt
As depicted in the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, in the 1870s, the rocky mountain locust wreaked havoc on crops in Minnesota and surrounding states. In 1876 alone, grasshoppers visited forty Minnesota counties and destroyed 500,000 acres of crops. This fictional poster design is in the tradition of poster styles from the 1870s and printed on Bella+Canvas tees. Hand screen-printed to order with love from Minnesota.
